New Year, New Projects, Same Old Me
I decided, against my better judgement, to do a project that involved a deadline. Of course, not long after I made that decision, Things Happened. Many Thing Happened. Things that took up a Considerable Amount of Time Happened. Also Flare-Ups. Flare-Ups also Happened.
Despite— or, perhaps more accurately, “in spite of”— all that has happened these past few months, I managed to do it. Somehow. Very last minute, of course, but I still managed to meet the arbitrary deadline I self-imposed. There’s no consequence if I didn’t meet it, but damn does it feel good to meet it.
So, what project did I manage to meet my arbitrary and self-imposed deadline for? I decided to create zines— ideally releasing a new zine each month, but we’ll see what the future holds. Unless I mistakes were made (not unlikely), the first zine of the year should be available here. I’m both very excited and very anxious about the whole thing, if I’m honest. Regardless, I did it and that’s all that matters.
But yeah, I made a zine! And it’s available now on my Ko-Fi shop and you can currently get it for free!1 Feel free to check it out!
It’s a new year with new projects and aspirations and goals, but I’m still me. So cheers and let’s hope that 2026 is, at the very least, a decent year and the most boring and mundane of times.
Links and stuff since I should probably share those:
- My Ko-Fi page/shop that you can follow for future zines (and other potential projects) as well as a place where, if it’s within your means, you can support me.
- Link to my Tumblr since I figured I should probably share/promote my zines and whatnot somewhere (and decided to start with Tumblr, due to in part, because of the queue feature).
The zine, like most zines I plan to publish, will be Pay-What-You-Want with the option to acquire it for free if you get it within the month it’s release.↩
